How consent is collected
Users enter a phone number during signup and then submit the account-creation form after seeing the SMS disclosure on that page.
Message type
Rentfolio sends transactional account and security texts only. This flow is not used for marketing campaigns.
Use cases
Verification codes, password reset codes, phone verification, and critical account or payout-security alerts.

Users can manage optional notification preferences inside the app or web portal. Security and verification texts are triggered only when the user starts an account action that requires confirmation.
